6th gradE DANCE PROGRAM

The MidWeeklies, Inc. 6th grade dance program offers traditional dance instruction in a formal setting at Calvary Presbyterian Church in San Francisco.

The annual program includes seven (7) dances on Thursday evenings throughout the school year.

The Dress code includes a dress or party skirt, of an appropriate length, solid tights of any color, and flat, closed-toed dress shoes. Sleeveless tops are acceptable only when covered with a sweater or jacket. White gloves are required. 

Alternatively, a blazer, tie, long-sleeved button-down shirt, pressed slacks, and leather dress shoes are required. Please label all blazers as they will be taken off during the dance. 

The following clothing items are not permitted: denim, tee shirts, tank tops, low cut or see-through clothing, leggings, athletic shoes/sneakers, heels, sandals, sweats.

The dress code is strictly enforced and aims to create a formal, social atmosphere while minimizing skin-to-skin contact.

MidWeeklies fosters a supportive and inclusive environment, where all students are respected regardless of their dress code choice.

To be as fair and transparent as possible, all sections are assigned electronically by the date and time stamp of registration. With the number of schools and children participating, we truly thank you for understanding that we will not accommodate section changes.
